- Fulltime, year-round work with the opportunity to haul all the commodities that can be transported in semi-dump trailers. Materials ranging all the way from agricultural products to hazardous waste and materials.
- We have the Federal and State permits plus the operating authorities to haul throughout the United States, as well as Ontario and Quebec in Canada. We also have intrastate authorities to pick-up and deliver within individual states.
- Our hazardous waste and materials division has Federal and EPA permits and individual state Haz permits to transport these special commodities throughout the United States.
- U.S. Bulk has the largest network of terminals and logistic offices in our industry that are in regular contact with each other to ensure the owner-operator that his next load is planned and ready for him long before he calls in unloaded.
- The owner-operator only has to call their home terminal. They do the communicating with the other offices to secure loads. His dispatcher takes care of him in any geographical area.
- U.S. Bulk processes driver settlement checks weekly.
- We have owner-operators that are long distance (over-the-road), regional, working in 2 or 3 states only, and those that are more local.
- Our dispatch philosophy is fair:
The first truck empty in a specific area gets his choice of the available loads in the area. The second empty, the second choice, and so on. - The Company provides, at no cost, hazardous waste and materials training programs that meet OSHA training standards. Upon completion of the program an OSHA training certificate is issued.
- The Company provides Comdata fuel cards for our full-time owner-operators. They can purchase fuels as well as get emergency cash advances.
- The Company carries liability insurance that is far in excess of D.O.T. and industry requirements. This enables the owner-operator to pick-up and deliver in any facility in the U.S. and Canada.
- The Company can assist the owner-operator in securing reduced costs for bob-tail, deadhead, physical damage and comprehensive insurance, as well as medical and other group insurance.
